new discussion,就是发一个新帖，发帖时选一个你的爱好，再发表你的看法，别人来回帖，就这样，赚钱了。你也可以找一个别人的帖去回复，也赚钱了，注意：网站是不能粘帖的，只能自己动手写。只有这样才能学到英语哟！如果可以的话，你还不知道是什么就被你粘帖上去了。小窍门：不会的单词或句子，可以用在线翻译的方法或在线字典查一下。
profile和preferences可以用来修改你的个人信息。
$0.00，你赚的美元啦，每天更新一次（不要刚发完帖，就去查这个，还没更新呢）
logout,安全退出。
3、发帖时有两种选择，一为你的爱好方面（manage interests)，另一为大众化的（general discussion) 发完帖后要你写个标签，挑几个关键词写上，中间加逗号。你也可以skip跳过。回复时也是这样。要你加标签，做法同上，然后还要问你是否加上这个爱好，你可以yes,也可以no,thanks.新人最好先看看别人怎样发、回帖。

四、怎样拿回自己赚的钱
（1）、注册一个paypal帐号（免费的）http://www.paypal.com
如果你是一个新手的话，在正式开始赚钱之前，仍有一项准备工作要做。这就是了解网络货币。否则赚了钱不知道怎样拿，岂不是空欢喜一场？如果你熟知这些情况，请略过这一段。目前最流行的网络支付形式主要有3种：Moneybookers、E-Gold和Paypal。
egold中国不能登录，要使用代理，而代理登录总是传出有人丢掉帐户，因此并不足够安全，所以我还是推荐paypal.
PayPal(简称PP)是现在网络上流行的免费信用卡，现在对包括中国在内的近40个国家开放，PayPal支付将成为以后网上收钱的一个主要方式，强烈建议加入。要注意的是你要完全激活你的帐号，必须要有一张国际Master卡或Visa卡，否则现在只能申请一个帐号，以后有了国际信用卡后才能激活账号。没有激活的帐户照样可以收钱、发款(但每个帐户发款总额不能超过3000美元、每月的发款额不能超过500美元，这对新手总该够了吧！(目前激活PP很简单，只要到招行申请一张国内的国际信用卡即可，一般一周左右时间就可以办理下来，而且过程很方便，没有繁琐的手续过程，推荐大家）
1、任何人只要有E-mail都可以申请PayPal。这个E-mail也是你登陆PayPal的用户名!!!2、没有激活的PP帐户也可以收钱(只是每月发款不能超过500美元)，pp也可以与人兑换，目前网上提供这种兑换的人很多。3.pp不是国内的贝宝，现在的pp提供中文支持。但是你填写地址的时候最好用拼音填写，中文也可以，不如英文处理速度快！4.几乎所有的网赚网站都支持将你赚的钱支付到pp 当你pp里的钱够积攒够150美元的时候可以申请支票。或者在没有打到150美元时你在网上找可信的人兑换，不过我认为支票是最安全的，就是慢了点。一般一个月可以收到。5.收到支票后你到银行去办理托收，并要求银行给你兑换成人民币存入你的银行帐户。目前支持PayPal提现的中国本地银行有目前支持的银行有工商银行、招商银行、建设银行、中国银行、农业银行。一般二十天就可以收到！
注意：1.请确保您在PayPal账户姓名与您银行账号姓名完全一致。2.请确保您的银行账号可以接受美元。（银行都能办本外币存折账户所以不必担心）

Name: Jolin Tsai (蔡依林) Pinyin: Cài Yīlín Birthday: September 15, 1980 Birth Place: Taipei, Taiwan Chinese Zodiac: Monkey Star Sign: Virgo Jolin Tsai first broke into the Taiwanese entertainment industry at age 18, winning first place in an MTV singing competition with a cover of the Whitney Houston song "The Greatest Love of All". After her performance, she was signed by Universal Music Taiwan. Tsai released her first single, 和世界做邻居(我可以) [hé shìjìe zuò línjū (wǒ kěyǐ), "Be a Neighbor to the World (I Can)"] in July 1999. The single was sold in 7-Eleven convenience stores around the island, and was followed by her first full-length album, Jolin 1019, in September 1999. Tsai's girl-next-door image made her a quick favorite among local teenagers, particularly boys, earning her the nickname "少男杀手" [shàonán shāshǒu, "Teenage Boy Killer"]. Jolin 1019 sold over 400,000 copies throughout Asia[1], and was released in multiple formats in several countries. Tsai released her follow-up album, Don't Stop, in May 2000. Liu is currently a grade three student at the Beijing Film Academy (北京电影学院), the star factory of China. But some people say that her success is only down to her beauty. When she returned to China with her mother at the age of 14, she did originally work as a model. It was when a director saw her picture on an advertisement board on the street that her opportunity to work in TV arose.
"A pretty face does not last forever. To be a good actress you must work hard and have a professional attitude (专业态度)," Liu said. Every day she spends hours practicing all the kungfu kicks and punches (踢打) for the show.
"There have been times during filming when I have remained hanging in the air on wires for half a day as the director keeps trying to get the perfect take," said Liu recently.
Liu was born in Wuhan but moved to the US with her mother when she was 10. Things were not easy at first.
"When I started at school I went to the wrong classroom for 10 days in a row because my English was so bad. I cried a lot when I saw all the textbooks to read were in English. But I tried my best and eventually overcame the challenges and finally won," Liu said. "The best thing I learnt in the US is to be independent (独立的) and brave," she said.
Liu said that she believes the saying that good luck only comes to those who are ready. And she is always ready for the camera.

Forum - 这个词不用多说了吧。它是指整个论坛。而一个论坛通常都包括很多版块，这个“版”就叫board。Board - 一个版上有很多的主题（topics），一个主题内包含许多帖子（posts）。版可以是加密的，只有管理员、版主和这个版的成员能看到内容。版也可以设成只读（read only），只有管理员才能发帖子。用户们（users）可以订阅一个版块，这样他们就能在邮件中看到这个版上的所有新帖子了。Topic - 主题，也叫做 thread，包括同一主题（subject）下所有的帖子。管理员和版主可以关闭主题（lock a topic），也可以把一个主题加精（add to digest）、置顶（stick）、移动（move）、删除（delete）等等。Post - 帖子，是用户发表的一篇文章（A post is a single public message by a user. ）。可以是一个subject（开始一个新的主题），也可以是对已有topic的回复。帖子发表后，用户还可以再编辑和删除。User - 用户，就是在一个论坛的注册成员。一般来说，想在论坛上发帖子就得先注册成为这个论坛的成员。不过，浏览帖子就不需要注册账号了，当然那些设置了加密和阅读权限的帖子除外。Administrator - 管理员。A forum admin can control and edit everything in the forum. 一个论坛可以有多个管理员。Moderator - 版主。版主的权限只设定在他所管辖的板块内。A board moderator can edit, delete posts and topics by normal users.他也可以在自己所管辖的板块内加精（add to digest）、置顶（stick）、移动（move）、打开或关闭（open or close）一个主题。同样的，一个版可以有多个版主。

Today many couples also receive counseling during engagement. This prepares them for the challenges of married life.

At last it's time for the wedding. Although most weddings follow long-held traditions, there's still room for American individualism. For example, the usual place for a wedding is in a church. But some people get married outdoors in a scenic spot. A few even have the ceremony while skydiving or riding on horseback! The couple may invite hundreds of people or just a few close friends. They choose their own style of colors, decorations and music during the ceremony. But some things rarely change. The bride usually wears a beautiful, long white wedding dress. She traditionally wears "something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue." The groom wears a formal suit or tuxedo. Several close friends participate in the ceremony as attendants, including the best man and the maid of honor.

As the ceremony begins, the groom and his attendants stand with the minister, facing the audience. Music signals the entrance of the bride's attendants, followed by the beautiful bride. Nervously, the young couple repeats their vows. Traditionally, they promise to love each other "for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health." But sometimes the couple has composed their own vows. They give each other a gold ring to symbolize their marriage commitment. However, people are meeting increasingly on television screens, conducting “teleconferences” to settle problems not only in this country but also --- by satellite --- internationally. An increasingly high percentage of normal business is being done these days by voice or electronic device. Mail is slow and uncertain and is growing ever more expensive.
The U.S. is definitely a telephone country. Almost everyone uses the telephone to conduct business, to chat with friends, to make or break engagements, to say their "Thank you's," to shop and to obtain all kinds of information. Telephones save your feet and endless amounts of time. This is due partly to the fact that the telephone service is good here, whereas the postal service is less efficient. Furthermore, the costs of secretarial labor, printing, and stamps are all soaring. The telephone is quick. We like it. We can do our business and get an answer in a matter of moments. Furthermore, several people can confer together without moving from their desks, even in widely scattered locations. In a big country that, too, is important.
Some new arrivals will come from cultures where it is considered impolite to work too quickly. Unless a certain amount of time is allowed to elapse, it seems in their eyes as if the task being considered were insignificant, not worthy of proper respect. Assignments are thus felt to be given added weight by the passage of time. In the U.S., however, it is taken as a sign of competence to solve a problem, or fulfill a job successfully, with rapidity. Usually, the more important a task is, the more capital, energy, and attention will be poured into it in order to "get it moving."

If you were asked to list ten American heroes and heroines, you would probably name some or all of the following: Gorge Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Daniel Boone, Martin Luther King Jr., Amelia Earhart, Susan B. Anthony, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Helen Keller, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Rosa Parks.
If next you were asked to list people who are generally admired by society, who somehow seem bigger than life, you might come up with an entirely different list. You might, in fact, name people who are celebrated for their wealth and glamour rather their achievements and moral strength of character.
And you would not be alone, because pollsters have found that people today do not choose political leaders who shape history for their “Most Admired” list, but rather movie and television celebrities, fashion models, professional athletes, and even comic book and cartoon characters. In short media icons.
By definition, heroes and heroines are men and women distinguished by uncommon courage, achievements, and self-sacrifice made most for the benefit of others --- they are people against whom we measure others. They are men and women recognized for shaping our nation’s consciousness and development as well as the lives of those who admire them.
Yet some people say that ours is an age where true heroes and heroines are hard to come by, where the very ideal of heroism is something beyond us --- an artifact of the past. Some maintain that because the Cold War is over and because America is at peace our age is essentially an unheroic one. Furthermore, the overall crime rate is down, poverty has been eased by a strong and growing economy, and advances continue to be made in medical science.
Consequently, bereft of cultural heroes, we have latched onto cultural icons --- media superstars such as actors, actresses, sports celebrities, television personalities, and people who are famous for being famous.
Cultural icons are harder to define, but we know them when we see them. They are people who manage to transcend celebrities, who are legendary, who somehow manage to become mythic. In part, their lives have the quality of a story. For instance, the beautiful young Diana Spencer who at 19 married a prince, bore a king, renounced marriage and the throne, and died at the moment she found the true love. Good looks certainly help. So does a special indefinable charisma, with the help of the media. But nothing becomes an icon more than a tragic and early death --- such as Martin Luther King Jr., John F. Kennedy, and Princess Diana.
